Please be aware that we require one week’s rent to secure the room whilst we take you through the application process which includes references, checking ID and Visas if applicable. Once the application process is complete, we will then require a full month’s rent as a deposit, minus the one week’s holding fee you have already paid. These deposit details will then be entered into the ‘Mydeposits’ scheme and you will be issued with a certificate as proof of this protection. The day that you move into the property we will require another month’s rent for the month ahead. To help your budgeting, basically we require a payment of two months’ rent (broken down in the three stages as described above) before we can let you move in.
